What is Mole & Wart Removal?

This treatment uses a laser to precisely remove raised skin concerns such as moles, warts, milia, and skin tags. Because these can often look similar on the surface, we first check the type and how deep the root goes before removal, minimizing scarring.

How It Works

  • We first check what type of mole, wart, or milia it is and how deep the root goes

  • The laser precisely targets only that area, reducing stress on the surrounding skin

  • A scab forms at the treated site, and as it naturally falls off, the skin heals smoothly

Recommended For

  • Anyone who wants moles removed from their face or body

  • Anyone bothered by milia, skin tags, or warts

  • Anyone who wants to confirm exactly what it is before removal

  • Anyone who wants clean removal without scarring

What Sets CELITA Clinic Apart

  • Our medical team first identifies the type of mole or wart before determining the removal method

Frequently Asked Questions

Q. How are moles, warts, and milia different?

A. Even though they may look similar, they differ in root depth and characteristics. Since it's often hard to tell just by looking, it's important to first accurately identify the type and then remove it with the appropriate method.

Q. How do I care for the area after treatment?

A. We apply recovery tape for about a week to the treated area to manage the scab and any discharge. Replace it with fresh tape every 1-2 days, and you can wash your face with the tape on. Don't pick at the scab — let it fall off naturally.

Q. Does it hurt?

A. A topical anesthetic is applied beforehand, so discomfort is minimal. The sensation may vary depending on the area, size, and individual pain sensitivity.

Q. Will it be gone after just one session?

A. Smaller spots are usually cleared in a single session, but if the root is deep, a follow-up treatment about a month later may be needed to finish. We'll advise you based on your condition during the consultation.

Q. Can it come back after removal?

A. Even after removing the visible spot, there's a chance it can return depending on aftercare. Be diligent about sun protection after treatment, and consider regular checkups and care as needed.

Q. Will it leave a scar?

A. Precisely removing only what's necessary minimizes scarring, but a mark may remain depending on the depth of the lesion or your skin type. That's why aftercare is important for the outcome — following the guidance provided helps support smooth healing.

Post-Treatment Precautions

  • Scabbing, redness, and slight discharge may occur at the treated site after the procedure, typically healing within 1-2 weeks.

  • Apply recovery tape for about a week, replacing it every 1-2 days, and avoid picking at the scab.

  • Apply SPF50+ sunscreen thoroughly when going outside to prevent pigmentation.

  • Avoid saunas, swimming, and strong massage or other irritation to the treated area until the scab falls off.

  • Marks or recurrence may occur depending on the depth of the lesion and skin type, and recovery time varies by individual.

  • Please contact the clinic if there is heavy discharge or ongoing swelling and pain.
